The Foundation wanted to give something back to our local community that has offered us and the Foundation such amazing support since Charlie died six years ago, as a result we acquired the BT phone box in the village’s Church Road, renovated it, and installed a defibrillator which helps restore the natural rhythm of the heart when a person is experiencing dangerous arrhythmia or cardiac arrest.

We have obtained the phone box from BT and it will be the foundation’s duty to keep it maintained and in good condition and while we hope it is never used if it saves just one life it will be money well spent.

It is an amazing bit of kit that can be used by anybody in an emergency. The emergency services would give you the code to access it and then when it is opened it starts speaking and giving instructions to the user.
